Biomechanics

ASME - Biomechanics.PNG

After a five-year hiatus, ASME Grand Prix has returned to develop innovative solutions to the historic race. We are manufacturing custom components such as a roll cage, exhaust, and transmission, as well as collecting data and creating models to predict optimal race setups and performance. This provides members with professional and technical experience that directly applies to the automotive industry. Let's bring engineering back to the Purdue Grand Prix!

We utilize a prosthetic hand design project as a cornerstone for onboarding new members, providing a hands-on introduction to biomechanical principles and design processes. This internal project allows students to learn through practical application, fostering collaboration and developing essential skills for future biomechanics endeavors.
